No, the Norman PerfectTilt system is designed to automate the tilting of the horizontal louvres. You will still need to manually swing the main shutter panels open if you wish to expose the bare glass.
Do I need an electrician to install these automated shutters?
No electrician is required. The motors run on premium, built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Our installation team will handle the complete setup and remote programming for you.
What happens if the motor battery goes completely flat?
If the battery dies, the smart internal clutch allows you to operate the louvres manually by hand without damaging the motor. You simply plug in the charger to restore power.
How often do the batteries need to be recharged?
